PM Awas Yojana 2026 — Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin & Urban Subsidy
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), launched in 2016, is India's largest housing programme providing financial assistance to build pucca houses for economically weaker sections. Under PMAY-Gramin (rural), eligible BPL families receive ₹1.20 lakh in plain areas and ₹1.30 lakh in hilly or north-eastern states paid directly through DBT.
