What is Agniveer Scheme?
Agnipath scheme recruits youth aged 17.5 to 23 years for 4-year service in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force as Agniveers, with a Rs.11.71 lakh Seva Nidhi package on completion.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Rs.30,000 to Rs.40,000/month salary + Rs.11.71 lakh Seva Nidhi after 4 years. The scheme was launched in 2022 and is implemented by the Government of India.
