The scholarship covers up to 4 years of the course duration. Administered by Directorate of Higher Education (dhe.goa.gov.in). Around 2,000 students benefit per year.

Who is Eligible for Goa CM Merit Scholarship?
- ✓ Goa Domicile holder (15+ years residence OR born in Goa)
- ✓ 75% or above marks in Class 12 (Goa Board / CBSE / ICSE)
- ✓ Admitted to recognised professional course — engineering, medical, law, MBA, architecture, pharmacy, nursing etc.
- ✓ Family annual income below ₹6 lakh (General) / ₹8 lakh (SC/ST/OBC)
