What is Goa Griha Aadhar Yojana?
Goa Griha Aadhar Scheme provides ₹2,500 per month financial assistance to homemakers (women who are not in paid employment) who are residents of Goa. The scheme recognises the unpaid contribution of homemakers to the family and society by providing them direct monthly cash support. The woman must be a Goa resident for at least 15 years, aged 18 and above, and must not be employed in any government or private job receiving a salary.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹2,500/month direct financial assistance to homemakers (women not in paid employment) — Goa residents. The scheme was launched in 2015 and is implemented by the Government of Goa.
