What is Goa Disability Financial Assistance?
Goa Government provides monthly financial assistance of ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 per month to persons with disabilities (PwD) having 40% or more disability, certified by a Medical Board. Goa's disability allowance rates are significantly higher than the national average. The scheme covers all types of disabilities: visual, hearing, locomotor, mental, intellectual, and multiple disabilities under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act 2016.
