These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of schemesinindia.in(the “Site”), operated by the Schemes In India team (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this Site.
These Terms are entered into under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (and the rules and regulations made thereunder), including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting schemesinindia.in, browsing any pages, or using any features of the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service, ourPrivacy Policyand ourDisclaimer. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Schemes In India, and apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and competent to enter into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you are below 18, you may only use the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

4. Prohibited Use
You agree that you will not:

- Use the Site for any commercial purpose, including resale or commercial republication of our content

You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page on schemesinindia.in. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use requires our prior written consent.
Government scheme names, official scheme details, logos, emblems, and content sourced from gov.in domains remain the property of the respective government bodies, ministries, or departments and are referenced on the Site for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site shall be construed as granting any right or licence in such government materials.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site contains links to external websites, including official Indian government portals (e.g., pmkisan.gov.in, ayushmanbharat.mygov.in, scholarships.gov.in, mhada.gov.in) and third-party services. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, availability, terms, or privacy practices of any third-party website or service. Your use of any such third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s own terms and privacy policy.

The Site is supported by display advertising, primarily through Google AdSense, and may from time to time contain affiliate links. Advertisements are served by third parties and may use cookies and similar technologies as described in ourPrivacy Policy. We do not endorse advertised products or services, and their appearance on the Site does not constitute a recommendation. Our editorial content is independent of advertisers.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Schemes In India or the operator of the Site be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, missed scheme deadlines, rejected applications, or any financial loss — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because the Site is a free, information-only resource and you pay nothing to access it, our aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed ₹0 (Indian Rupees Zero).
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Schemes In India, and the operator of the Site, from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your infringement of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or your use of the Site, shall first be resolved by good-faith negotiation between the parties. Failing such resolution within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Pune under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Pune, Maharashtra. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify or update these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date and shall be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
13. Termination
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or any part of the Site at any time, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law) shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause in Section 11, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site.
