Central & state government yojanas — eligibility, registration & benefits
How to use this master directory
This page is the single master directory across every scheme we cover on SchemesInIndia.in — both central government schemes and every state and union territory's own schemes. If you are landing here for the first time, the fastest way to find what applies to you is to filter by category (agriculture, health, women, education, housing, employment, finance) using the pills below, or to jump to your state from the state cards further down. A resident of any Indian state is typically eligible for a mix — the central schemes that apply to every Indian citizen, plus the state schemes notified by their state government, plus (if you belong to a reserved category) any category-specific scheme like AICTE Saksham or the SC/ST post-matric scholarships.
What makes this page different from the central schemes list is the combined view. On /central you are looking only at pan-India Union-list schemes administered by central ministries — PM-Kisan, Ayushman Bharat, PMAY, PM Vishwakarma, PM Ujjwala, and so on. On this page, you additionally see the top state schemes bubbled up alongside the central ones, plus the state-selector for drilling into your specific state's full list. Use /central when you already know you are looking for a PM Yojana or a Union-scheme; use this directory when you are exploring what is available in total or comparing central + state options side by side.
A quick orientation on how the schemes are grouped: central schemes are further split by category and by ministry (Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, and so on). State schemes are grouped by state first, then by category within each state. A large share of household benefit today comes from state schemes rather than central ones — for example, Maharashtra's Ladki Bahin and Karnataka's Gruha Lakshmi transfer more monthly cash to eligible women than PM-Kisan transfers annually. Do not stop at the central list.
