What is Goa CM Housing Scheme BPL?
Goa Chief Minister Housing Scheme provides free or heavily subsidized housing for Below Poverty Line (BPL) families in Goa. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G), eligible Goa BPL families receive ₹1.5 lakh central assistance. The Goa Government provides an additional state top-up grant, bringing the effective assistance to approximately ₹2–₹3 lakh per beneficiary. Urban BPL families are covered under PMAY-Urban (up to ₹2.5 lakh for new construction). The scheme also covers SC/ST and minority communities with priority.
