What is One Nation One Ration Card?
One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) allows any NFSA beneficiary to avail their entitled ration from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) anywhere in India using Aadhaar-based biometric authentication. Migrant workers can now get ration in the city where they work, not just their home state. All 36 states/UTs are covered under ONORC.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Get your ration entitlement from any FPS in India — portable across all 36 states/UTs. The scheme was launched in 2019 and is implemented by the Government of India.
