What is HP Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana?
Himachal Pradesh Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana (also called HP Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana) provides loans up to ₹60 lakh for service/business/manufacturing enterprises and up to ₹40 lakh for agriculture-based enterprises, with 25% capital subsidy (maximum ₹15 lakh) to educated unemployed youth in HP. Women entrepreneurs get 5% additional subsidy. SC/ST candidates get 30% subsidy. The scheme is administered by Himachal Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Commission (hpkvn.hp.gov.in).
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Up to ₹60 lakh loan + 25% subsidy (max ₹15L) for youth enterprises in Himachal Pradesh. The scheme was launched in 2019 and is implemented by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
