What is HP Mukhyamantri Gyan Deep Yojana?
Mukhyamantri Gyan Deep Yojana is Himachal Pradesh's education loan interest subsidy scheme that provides 100% interest subvention on education loans up to ₹10 lakh for HP students pursuing professional courses (engineering, medical, law, MBA, CA, etc.). The HP government pays the entire interest on the loan during the course period and moratorium period (up to 1 year after course completion), so students have zero interest burden during studies. Family income must be below ₹4.5 lakh. Applicable for HP domicile students taking education loans from scheduled banks. About 10,000 HP students benefit annually. Apply at the lending bank with HP domicile certificate.
