What is HP Grihini Suvidha Yojana?
Himachal Pradesh Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana provides free LPG connections and first cylinder to BPL rural women in Himachal Pradesh who are NOT covered under PM Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). HP extends the central Ujjwala coverage to remaining BPL rural households left out — targeting women from SC, ST, BPL, and APL households with annual income below ₹1.5 lakh in HP. Benefits: Free LPG connection, first cylinder free, first refill at ₹300 subsidy. HP government covers the security deposit (₹1,600) and connection charges. 2 lakh+ beneficiaries in Himachal Pradesh. Apply at nearest LPG distributor or HP gas agency.
