What is HP Sukhashraya Yojana?
Mukhyamantri Sukhashraya Yojana is Himachal Pradesh's flagship scheme for orphaned, destitute, and abandoned children in HP. It provides ₹4,000/month financial assistance, free education up to Class 12, free accommodation at government child care homes, and holistic care including nutrition, healthcare, and vocational training for children up to age 27.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹4,000/month + free education till Class 12 + care till age 27 for orphaned children in HP. The scheme was launched in 2023 and is implemented by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Who is Eligible for HP Sukhashraya Yojana?
- ✓ Orphaned child (both parents deceased) or child of destitute/abandoned parents in HP
- ✓ Child who is a resident of Himachal Pradesh
- ✓ Age up to 18 years for admission; benefits continue till age 27
- ✓ Children of single parents with income below ₹1 lakh/year also eligible
- ✓ Children removed from child labour or trafficking situations
- ✓ Aadhaar card required (or applied for)

- 1नजदीकी CDPO (Child Development Project Officer) / ICPS (Integrated Child Protection Scheme) कार्यालय में जाएं
- 2मुख्यमंत्री सुखाश्रय योजना का आवेदन पत्र प्राप्त करें और भरें
- 3जन्म प्रमाण पत्र, माता/पिता का मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र, HP निवास प्रमाण और आधार संलग्न करें
- 4DCPO (District Child Protection Officer) द्वारा social investigation और home assessment होगी
- 5Approved बच्चों को ₹4,000/माह DBT और सरकारी child care home में प्रवेश मिलेगा
