What is HP BOCW Construction Workers?
Himachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Welfare Board provides social security to construction workers registered in HP. Benefits: (1) Accidental death ₹2 lakh; (2) Permanent disability ₹1 lakh; (3) Maternity benefit ₹15,000 (2 deliveries for female workers or male worker's wife); (4) Children education scholarship ₹500-₹10,000/year (Class 1 to UG); (5) Pension ₹1,500/month after 60 years (5 years registered); (6) Medical reimbursement ₹2,500 per illness. Annual registration: ₹25. Apply at HP Labour Department or himachal.gov.in. HP BOCW covers all construction workers across 12 districts of HP.
