Himachal Pradesh Krishi Sinchai Yojana (under PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana — More Crop Per Drop) provides 50% subsidy on micro-irrigation and sprinkler systems for HP hill farmers. HP's steep terrain and scattered land holdings make flood irrigation impractical — drip and sprinkler systems are critical for crop viability.
