Mahila Samarthya Yojana UP

About this scheme for women

UP Mahila Samarthya Yojana supports women's self-help groups (SHGs) through free skill training in 8 sectors, market linkages, and enterprise development support. Priority is given to women in Aspirational Districts, and revolving fund support of ₹15,000 is provided per SHG. The scheme is managed by UP State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) under Mahila Kalyan Vibhag.

Which women qualify

• ✓ Rural woman from Uttar Pradesh
• ✓ Member of a registered SHG (Self Help Group) under UPSRLM
• ✓ SHG must have completed minimum 3 months of regular savings and meetings
• ✓ Priority to women in 17 Aspirational Districts of UP
• ✓ BPL families, SC/ST women, and women with disabilities given preference
• ✓ Age 18-60 years

Documents to keep ready

How to enrol

1. 1अपने गांव में UPSRLM Community Resource Person (CRP) या Gram Panchayat से संपर्क करें।
2. 2नजदीकी active SHG में join करें या 10-15 महिलाओं के साथ नया SHG बनाएं।
3. 3SHG का UPSRLM में registration करवाएं और Bank account खुलवाएं।
4. 4नियमित साप्ताहिक savings और meetings शुरू करें (minimum 3 महीने)।
5. 5Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) से Mahila Samarthya Yojana training के लिए registration करें।
6. 6Training complete करें और skill certificate प्राप्त करें।
7. 7₹15,000 Revolving Fund के लिए BMMU को application दें (SHG grading के बाद)।
8. 8Market linkage और enterprise support के लिए Cluster Level Enterprise (CLE) में participate करें।
