What is Jal Jeevan Mission UP?
UP Jal Jeevan Mission is the state implementation of the Central Jal Jeevan Mission that aims to provide a free Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) to every rural household in Uttar Pradesh. Out of 2.64 crore targeted rural households, over 1.8 crore connections have been provided at 55 LPCD (litres per capita per day).
