What is UP Farmer ID Registration?
UP Farmer ID (Farmer Registry) is the Uttar Pradesh government's implementation of the central Agristack initiative — a unique 12-digit Farmer ID linked to Aadhaar that consolidates land records, crop history, scheme benefits (PM-Kisan, PMFBY, KCC), and digital identity for every farmer in UP. Mandatory for receiving PM-Kisan installments from 2025 onwards. Over 2.62 crore farmers in UP are being registered. Registration is FREE via Lekhpal (village patwari), Common Service Centre (CSC), or self-registration on upfr.agristack.gov.in / upagriculture.com. The Farmer ID enables faster scheme disbursement, paperless land transactions, automated crop loss compensation, and reduced fraud.
