What is BC Sakhi Yojana UP?
BC Sakhi Yojana (Banking Correspondent Sakhi Yojana) was launched by CM Yogi Adityanath in May 2020 to deploy women SHG members as Banking Correspondents in Uttar Pradesh villages. Selected women (Banking Sakhis) receive ₹4,000/month stipend for 6 months, ₹50,000 device subsidy from the bank, and ongoing transaction-based commission income. 58,000 Banking Sakhis have been deployed across all 75 UP districts. This scheme brings banking services to doorsteps of rural households and provides dignified employment to rural women.

BC सखी योजना उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने मई 2020 में शुरू की। इस योजना के तहत स्वयं सहायता समूह (SHG) की महिलाओं को गांव में Banking Correspondent (BC) के रूप में तैनात किया जाता है। चयनित महिलाओं को 6 माह तक ₹4,000/माह stipend, बैंक से ₹50,000 device subsidy और लेनदेन पर commission मिलता है। अब तक UP के सभी 75 जिलों में 58,000 Banking सखियां तैनात हो चुकी हैं।

Who is Eligible for BC Sakhi Yojana UP?
- ✓ Woman aged 18-50 years and permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh
- ✓ Must be an active member of a Self Help Group (SHG) registered under UPSRLM/NRLM
- ✓ Minimum educational qualification: Class 10 (Matric) pass
- ✓ Must have access to a smartphone or be willing to use digital device provided
- ✓ Must be willing to work in her own village/gram panchayat as a Banking Correspondent
- ✓ Must be able to operate basic digital applications and financial transactions
- ✓ Priority to women with banking/financial literacy training or prior SHG leadership roles

How to Apply for BC Sakhi Yojana UP Online?
- 1अपने गांव की UPSRLM से जुड़ी SHG (स्वयं सहायता समूह) में सक्रिय सदस्य होना आवश्यक है
- 2अपने Block Mission Manager (BMM) या Cluster Coordinator से संपर्क करें — वे ग्राम पंचायत स्तर पर BC Sakhi चयन की जानकारी देते हैं
- 3UPSRLM द्वारा जारी BC Sakhi चयन सूची में नाम आने पर आवेदन पत्र भरें और सभी दस्तावेज जमा करें
- 4चयन के बाद UPSRLM और बैंक द्वारा आयोजित 6-दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण में भाग लें
- 5प्रशिक्षण पूरा होने पर बैंक BC Agreement sign करें और Device (BC Point machine/smartphone) प्राप्त करें
- 6बैंक से ₹50,000 device subsidy प्राप्त करें और अपने गांव में BC Point शुरू करें
- 7पहले 6 माह UPSRLM से ₹4,000/माह stipend मिलेगा; इसके बाद transaction commission से नियमित आय होगी
