What is TN Free LPG Connection Scheme?
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Free LPG Connection Scheme provides FREE LPG connection, FREE double burner stove, and FREE 2 cylinder refills annually to women heads of BPL households in Tamil Nadu. Implemented by the TN Food and Consumer Protection Department, the scheme acts as a state top-up to central PMUY (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana), extending benefits to families not covered by PMUY and offering EXTRA refills + stove. Targets 20 lakh+ BPL women in Tamil Nadu. Application at nearest Ration Shop or tnpds.gov.in portal.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive FREE LPG connection + FREE double burner stove + 2 FREE cylinder refills/year for BPL women in TN. The scheme was launched in 2018 and is implemented by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

மாணவியின் பெயரில் nationalised bank (State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Canara Bank, etc.) -ல் savings account திறக்கவும். Aadhaar card கட்டாயம் link செய்ய வேண்டும். பள்ளியே முகாம் ஏற்பாடு செய்யும். Aadhaar-linked account இல்லாமல் benefit கிடைக்காது.
