What is Naan Mudhalvan TN?
Naan Mudhalvan (I am the First) is Tamil Nadu government's flagship skill development and employability scheme for students in Classes 6-12 and higher education. It provides free certification courses in IT, digital skills, NEET/JEE coaching, industry certifications, and soft skills. Students also get paid internship support with stipend ₹1,000-3,000/month. Over 50 lakh students enrolled.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Free skill certification courses + paid internship (₹1,000-3,000/month) + NEET/JEE coaching. The scheme was launched in 2022 and is implemented by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
