What is TN CM Breakfast Scheme?
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme provides free nutritious breakfast to students studying in government primary schools (Classes 1–5) every school day. Launched in September 2022 by CM MK Stalin, the scheme covers over 1.14 lakh students across 1,545 government primary schools initially, now expanded to 5,016+ schools statewide.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Free nutritious breakfast every school day for Class 1–5 government school students. The scheme was launched in 2022 and is implemented by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
