What is Gruha Lakshmi Karnataka?
Gruha Lakshmi is Karnataka government's flagship guarantee scheme that provides Rs.2,000 per month directly to the bank account of the female head of every eligible household across Karnataka. Launched in August 2023 as one of the 5 Congress guarantee schemes, over 1.29 crore women have registered and receive Rs.24,000 per year via DBT. The Karnataka Budget 2026-27 allocated Rs.28,608 crore for this scheme — the single largest allocation in Karnataka's history.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Rs.2,000/month DBT to female head of household — Rs.24,000/year. The scheme was launched in 2023 and is implemented by the Government of Karnataka.

ಗೃಹಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ 5 ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾದ ಯೋಜನೆ. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 2023 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ, ರೇಷನ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಎಂದು ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೆ ₹2,000 ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಖಾತೆಗೆ DBT ಮೂಲಕ ಜಮಾ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ. 2026-27 ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಬಜೆಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ₹28,608 ಕೋಟಿ ಅನುದಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ 1.29 ಕೋಟಿ+ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಲಾಭ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು. ರೇಷನ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ನಲ್ಲಿ (Antyodaya, BPL, ಅಥವಾ APL) ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಎಂದು ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಿರಬೇಕು. ಆಧಾರ್ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಖಾತೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆದಾಯ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಪಾವತಿಸುವವರು ಅರ್ಹರಲ್ಲ.
