Mathrupoorna Yojana is the Karnataka state government's maternal nutrition scheme launched on 2 October 2017 — providing hot cooked nutritious meals to pregnant women and lactating mothers at Anganwadi Centres across all 30 districts of Karnataka. The scheme aims to reduce maternal anaemia, low birth weight, and infant mortality through dignified, on-site nutrition rather than dry take-home rations alone. Each meal provides approximately 25g protein, 600 calories, IFA tablets, calcium tablets, eggs (5 per week), milk, and fortified rice. The scheme is integrated with cash benefits under PMMVY: ₹1,000 within 6 months of pregnancy registration, ₹2,000 after delivery, and ₹2,000 after the child receives the first round of immunisation. How to Apply for Mathrupoorna Yojana Online?
