What is Krishi Bhagya?

Krishi Bhagya Yojana is the Karnataka government's flagship rainwater conservation and farm income enhancement scheme reintroduced in the 2024-25 budget with ₹200 crore allocation. The scheme provides 80-90% subsidy to farmers for constructing Krishi Honda (farm ponds) for rainwater harvesting, polyhouses for hybrid vegetable/flower cultivation, shadenets, lift irrigation pumps, diesel motors, and other water conservation infrastructure.
