About this health scheme
Anna Bhagya Yojana is Karnataka government's flagship food security guarantee scheme launched in 2023, providing 10 kg of free rice per person per month to all BPL (Below Poverty Line), Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY), and Priority Household (PHH) ration cardholders. The scheme complements the central NFSA entitlement — 5 kg from NFSA at ₹1/kg plus 5 kg free from Anna Bhagya — making total rice entitlement 10 kg per person at zero cost. Beneficiaries collect rice from their designated Fair Price Shop (ration shop) every month by showing their ration card and Aadhaar. If collection is not feasible, ₹170 per person per month is credited via DBT.

पात्रता:
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ BPL ಅಥವಾ NFSA ಕಾರ್ಡ್ಧಾರಕ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಆಹಾರ ಭದ್ರತಾ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರಿರಬೇಕು.
