What is DAY-NULM Urban Livelihoods?
Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) supports urban poor and street vendors through Self-Employment Programme (SEP): individual loans up to ₹2 lakh at 7% interest, SHG loans, skill training, and shelter for urban homeless. Urban street vendors registered under PM SVANidhi also fall under NULM framework.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Individual loan up to ₹2 lakh (7% interest) + SHG formation + skill training + shelter for homeless. The scheme was launched in 2013 and is implemented by the Government of India.
