What is National Health Mission?

National Health Mission (NHM) is India's largest public health programme covering National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and National Urban Health Mission (NUHM). It provides free essential medicines, diagnostics, and health services at government health facilities. Who is Eligible for National Health Mission?

  • All residents using government health facilities — no income restriction for basic services
  • Priority to BPL, SC/ST, pregnant women, children, elderly
  • JSSK: Pregnant women delivering at government hospitals get completely free services
  • RBSK: All children 0-18 years in government schools/anganwadis get free screening
  • JSY incentive: ₹1,400 (rural) / ₹1,000 (urban) for institutional delivery at government hospital

How to Apply for National Health Mission Online?

  1. 1नजदीकी सरकारी अस्पताल / PHC / CHC / Sub-Centre जाएं
  2. 2OPD में registration कराएं — बेसिक OPD fee (₹0-₹10) या Free
  3. 3NHM की free essential medicines की list देखें और doctor से prescription लें
  4. 4प्रसव के लिए: Government hospital में JSSK के तहत पूरी तरह मुफ्त — delivery, medicines, diet, transport
  5. 5ASHA worker को संपर्क करें — घर तक सेवा और Hospital escort के लिए
  6. 6बच्चों की RBSK screening के लिए school/anganwadi teacher से संपर्क करें
