What is Mizoram PMAY Housing Scheme?
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G), Mizoram BPL rural families receive ₹2 lakh for constructing a pucca house (special hilly state rate, higher than plain area rate of ₹1.5 lakh). Mizoram's mountainous terrain qualifies it for the enhanced rate. Houses include Swachh Bharat toilet, Saubhagya electricity, and PMUY LPG connection.
