What is Mizoram State Disability Pension?
Mizoram State Disability Pension provides monthly financial assistance of Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,500 to persons with 40% or more disability who are permanent residents of Mizoram (ILP holders). The scheme combines the Central Government's Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS) with a Mizoram state top-up. Payment is directly transferred to the beneficiary's Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT. Applications are processed through the District Social Welfare Office and Village/Local Council recommendation is required.
