Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Karjmafi Yojana 2026 is a fresh farm loan waiver announced by the Maharashtra government in its 2026 state budget, named after the 18th-century queen Ahilyadevi Holkar. It targets farmers whose short-term crop loans, taken from nationalised banks, district cooperative banks, or Regional Rural Banks, remained overdue as of 30 September 2025, offering a waiver of up to ₹2 lakh per eligible borrower. Small and marginal farmers are the priority beneficiaries, and those who repaid their loans regularly during the specified period receive a ₹50,000 incentive.
