How is This Different from the Old Loan Waiver?
The earlier Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Shetkari Karj Mukti Yojana (2019) covered loans outstanding as of 30 September 2019. The new Ahilyadevi Holkar Karjmafi Yojana 2026 is a fresh scheme covering loans overdue as of 30 September 2025 � targeting a new batch of farmers who accumulated loan burden in 2020�2025.

₹50,000 Incentive for Regular Repayers
Farmers who consistently repaid their crop loans on time during the specified period will receive a ₹50,000 incentive as recognition of responsible financial behaviour. This is credited directly to the farmer's Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT.
How to Apply (अर्ज प्रक्रिया)
The official application portal has not yet been publicly launched as of May 2026. The scheme was announced in the budget � the dedicated portal is expected to go live soon. Farmers should:
- Monitor mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in for the official portal launch
- Keep your loan passbook, 7/12, and Aadhaar ready
- Register as soon as the portal opens and enter your loan account details
- Bank will automatically apply the waiver once the government approves your application
