What is Ladka Bhau Yojana Maharashtra?

Mukhyamantri Ladka Bhau Yojana ('Brother' Scheme) is Maharashtra's male counterpart to the hugely popular Ladki Bahin Yojana (for women). Launched in 2024 by the Mahayuti government, it provides monthly internship stipend to unemployed young men (18-35 years) for skill development and on-the-job training with companies. Stipend amounts based on educational qualification: ITI certificate holders — ₹6,000/month; Diploma holders — ₹8,000/month; Degree/Graduate and above — ₹10,000/month. Duration: 6 months internship with a registered private company. After internship, the company is encouraged (not mandated) to offer permanent employment.
