The Maharashtra Post-Matric Scholarship on the MahaDBT portal is one of the most important financial support schemes for students from SC, ST, OBC, SBC, and NT communities in Maharashtra. It covers full tuition fee reimbursement, monthly maintenance allowance, and examination fees for students studying at the post-10th level.

Eligibility

• Categories covered: SC, ST, OBC, SBC, NT (Nomadic Tribe)
• Income limit: SC/ST � below ₹2.50 lakh | OBC/SBC/NT � below ₹1 lakh
• Must have passed 10th standard (SSC)
• Studying 11th, diploma, degree, PG, professional courses in recognised Maharashtra institution
• Not receiving any other scholarship simultaneously

• उत्पन्न मर्यादा: SC/ST ₹2.50 लाख | OBC/SBC/NT ₹1 लाख
• दहावी उत्तीर्ण � ११वी, डिप्लोमा, पदवी किंवा पदव्युत्तर शिक्षण
• एकाच वेळी दुसरी शिष्यवृत्ती मिळत नसणे

When to Apply � Academic Year Deadline

Applications are accepted August to November every academic year. Students must apply within the window � late applications are not entertained. The 2026�27 application window will open in August 2026.

How to Apply on MahaDBT

1. Visit mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/ScholarShip
2. Click 'New Applicant Registration' and verify with Aadhaar OTP
3. Fill personal, academic, category, and income details
4. Upload: caste certificate, caste validity, income certificate, marksheet, bonafide, bank passbook
5. Submit � your college principal verifies online
6. District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) gives final approval
7. Amount credited to Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT

अर्ज कसा करावा? (मराठी)

mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/ScholarShip वर जाऊन 'New Applicant Registration' करा. आधार OTP ने पडताळणी करा. जात प्रमाणपत्र, जात वैधता प्रमाणपत्र, उत्पन्नाचा दाखला, गुणपत्रिका, बोनाफाईड आणि बँक पासबुक अपलोड करा. महाविद्यालय प्राचार्य ऑनलाइन मंजुरी देतात. DSWO अंतिम मंजुरी दिल्यानंतर DBT द्वारे पैसे जमा होतात.
