What is Kerala Karshaka Kshemagam?
Kerala Karshaka Kshemagam (Farmer Welfare Fund) is a state government scheme providing a monthly pension of ₹1,000 to registered farmers aged 60 years and above in Kerala. The fund also provides ₹1 lakh as accidental death benefit and ₹50,000 for permanent disability caused by farming accidents. Managed by the Agriculture Department, Kerala, farmers must be registered members of the Karshaka Kshemagam fund for a minimum contribution period.
