What is Vridhajan Pension Bihar?
Bihar Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana (MVPY) provides monthly pension of ₹400 to senior citizens aged 60–79 years and ₹500 to those aged 80+ years. The scheme covers all elderly Bihar residents regardless of income — no income limit, no caste restriction.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹400/month (age 60–79) and ₹500/month (age 80+) — no income limit. The scheme was launched in 2019 and is implemented by the Government of Bihar.
