What is Bihar KYP Kushal Yuva Programme?
Bihar Kushal Yuva Programme (KYP) is a flagship 3-month free skill training scheme for Bihar youth aged 15-25 years, launched under the 7 Nishchay programme. Training covers three domains: Communication Skills (Hindi and English), Basic Computer Skills (MS Office, internet, email), and Soft Skills/Life Skills. Upon successful completion, candidates receive a certificate from BSDC (Bihar Skill Development Corporation) and an incentive of ₹1,000. Over 1,500 KYP training centres are operational across all districts of Bihar. Apply at skillmissionbihar.org.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Free 3-month skill training in communication + computer + soft skills + BSDC certificate + ₹1,000 on completion. The scheme was launched in 2016 and is implemented by the Government of Bihar.

बिहार कुशल युवा कार्यक्रम (KYP) बिहार सरकार की 7 निश्चय योजना के अंतर्गत 15-25 वर्ष के युवाओं को तीन माह का निःशुल्क कौशल प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करता है। इस कार्यक्रम में संचार कौशल (हिंदी एवं अंग्रेजी), बेसिक कंप्यूटर कौशल तथा सॉफ्ट स्किल्स/जीवन कौशल की ट्रेनिंग दी जाती है। प्रशिक्षण सफलतापूर्वक पूरा करने पर बिहार स्किल डेवलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन (BSDC) का मान्यता प्राप्त प्रमाण पत्र और ₹1,000 की प्रोत्साहन राशि मिलती है।
