Bihar Mukhyamantri Gram Parivahan Yojana — 50% Vehicle Subsidy
Bihar's Gram Parivahan Yojana enables SC/ST/EBC rural youth to start a transport business with 50% subsidy up to Rs.1 lakh on purchase of 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler commercial vehicle.
Eligibility
- Bihar SC / ST / Extremely Backward Class youth, age 21-45
- Valid commercial driving licence
- Annual family income below Rs.3 lakh
- Maximum 5 beneficiaries per Gram Panchayat
How to Apply
- Get application form from Gram Panchayat or Block office
- Submit at District Transport Office with Aadhaar, caste cert, licence, income cert
- Panchayat committee selection
- Purchase from empanelled dealer, 50% subsidy via DBT
