Meghalaya Enterprise Development Scheme (MEDS) is the state government's flagship self-employment loan programme providing ₹2 lakh to ₹10 lakh at a concessional interest rate of 4% per annum to unemployed youth of Meghalaya for starting or expanding small enterprises. Covers manufacturing, trade, service, and agri-based businesses. District Industries Centre (DIC) assists with project planning.
