The Meghalaya Chief Minister's Cottage Industry Scheme provides financial assistance of ₹25,000 to ₹1.5 lakh to rural tribal artisans and craftspeople in Meghalaya for setting up or upgrading cottage industry units in traditional and modern craft sectors. The scheme targets Khasi, Jaintia, and Garo tribal artisans engaged in traditional weaving, cane and bamboo work, pottery, wood carving, traditional jewelry making, and modern cottage industries including food processing, soap making, incense sticks, and candle making. पात्रता:
मेघालय स्थायी जनजातीय निवासी (खासी/जयंतिया/गारो), सक्रिय कारीगर या कुटीर उद्योग उद्यमी, DIC या Udyam पंजीकृत, आय ₹3 लाख से कम। महिलाओं और 35 वर्ष से कम युवाओं को प्राथमिकता।
