What is Meghalaya Agriculture Input Subsidy?
Meghalaya Agriculture Input Subsidy Scheme provides 50% subsidy on certified seeds, bio-fertilizers, organic inputs, and small agricultural tools for registered farmers in Meghalaya. This state scheme works in convergence with the central PM-KISAN scheme which provides ₹6,000 per year (in 3 installments of ₹2,000 each) to all landholding farmer families. The Agriculture Department also provides subsidized sprayers, micro-irrigation kits, and poly-houses under allied schemes.
