About this tribal welfare scheme
Arunachal Pradesh Tribal Welfare Development Fund supports the 26 major APST (Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe) communities — including Adi, Nyishi, Apatani, Galo, Monpa, Tangsa, Wancho, Nocte, and others — through integrated interventions covering livelihood development, education support, infrastructure in tribal villages, and cultural preservation. The fund covers skill development grants, micro-enterprise support, traditional craft promotion, construction of community halls in tribal villages, and scholarships for higher education. The Tribal Welfare Department coordinates with District Councils and Village Councils for implementation. APST certificate and PRC are mandatory for all benefits.

Arunachal Pradesh Tribal Welfare Development Fund provides livelihood, education, infrastructure, and cultural support to all 26 APST communities including Adi, Nyishi, Apatani, Galo, Monpa, Tangsa, Wancho, Nocte, and others.
