What is Arunachal State Health Insurance?
Arunachal Pradesh State Health Insurance provides ₹5 lakh per family per year for cashless medical treatment at empanelled hospitals. The scheme extends and supplements Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) to cover families that are not on the PMJAY list, combining with the state's CMAAY (Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana). Together, these ensure universal health coverage for all Arunachal Pradesh domicile holders. Coverage includes secondary and tertiary care: cardiac surgery, cancer treatment, kidney dialysis, orthopaedic procedures, maternal and neonatal care, and trauma/polytrauma.
