Punjab Mukhyamantri Tirath Yatra Scheme provides free pilgrimage trips for senior citizens aged 60 and above to important religious sites including Sri Amritsar (Golden Temple), Vaishno Devi (Jammu), Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mathura, Vrindavan, and other sacred destinations. The scheme covers travel by state transport (bus/train), accommodation, meals, and a pilgrim guide. Managed by the Department of NRI & Cultural Affairs, Government of Punjab. Groups are organized by district administration and Sewa Kendras. No cost to the beneficiary — fully state-funded.

ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੀਰਥ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 60 ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਤੀਰਥ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਯਾਤਰਾ, ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਖਰਚਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

पात्रता:
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ, ਉਮਰ 60+, ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ, ਪਿਛਲੇ 3 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਤੀਰਥ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ।

ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ Sewa Kendra ਜਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਫਾਰਮ ਲਓ ਅਤੇ ਆਧਾਰ + ਫੋਟੋ ਨਾਲ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰੋ।

- ✓ Medically fit for travel (self-declaration or basic health certificate)
- ✓ Priority to BPL / lower-income senior citizens
- ✓ Aadhaar Card mandatory

Applying step-by-step

- 2Start a new registration with your mobile number and confirm the OTP
- 3Work through each section of the form, matching entries to your documents
- 4Attach the requested paperwork (Aadhaar Card (age and residence proof), Punjab Voter ID or Domicile Certificate, Age proof (Aadhaar/birth certificate/matriculation certificate))
- 5Verify the preview screen, submit, and write down the acknowledgement ID
- 6Return to the portal later to follow the verification stages
