What is Bhagat Singh Yuva Rozgar Yojana Punjab?
Bhagat Singh Yuva Rozgar Yojana (formerly Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana extension) is Punjab Government's unemployment allowance scheme for educated youth. Under the scheme, graduates who are unemployed receive a monthly allowance of ₹2,500 for up to 3 years while they search for employment or skill training. Post-graduate degree holders receive ₹3,000/month. The scheme is part of Punjab's broader employment ecosystem that also includes the Rozgar Mela (Job Fairs) and skill development partnerships. Launched/renamed under AAP government to honor Bhagat Singh's centenary, the scheme aims to support youth during their transition from education to employment.
