About this Divyangjan scheme
Punjab Disability Financial Assistance (Disability Pension) provides monthly financial support to persons with disabilities in Punjab. The scheme covers persons with 40% or more disability with a monthly pension of ₹1,500. Persons with severe disability (80% or more) receive enhanced pension of ₹2,000 per month. The scheme is implemented by the Social Security Department, Government of Punjab, and payments are made via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary's Aadhaar-linked bank account. Who is eligible under UDID
- ✓ Punjab permanent resident
