What is Punjab Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana?

Punjab Mukhyamantri Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana (also called Maa-Beti Samman Yojana — Mother-Daughter Felicitation Scheme) was launched in 2026 by the Punjab Government to provide monthly financial assistance of ₹1,000–₹1,500 to ALL adult women in Punjab. Every eligible woman aged 18+ gets ₹1,000/month directly to her bank account. SC (Scheduled Caste) women receive enhanced ₹1,500/month. Registration began from 15 April 2026 through Sewa Kendras, Anganwadi Centres, Nagar Nigam, and Committee offices. Exclusions: current/retired government employees, MPs/MLAs (current or former), and income tax payers. Aims to cover 1 crore+ Punjab women across rural and urban areas.

Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹1,000/month for general women + ₹1,500/month for SC women — DBT to Aadhaar-linked bank account for all eligible Punjab women aged 18+. The scheme was launched in 2026 and is implemented by the Government of Punjab.
