Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Homestay Scheme is Uttarakhand's tourism homestay enterprise support program for hill families to set up registered homestay units. The scheme provides ₹2 lakh to ₹10 lakh bank loan at subsidised interest plus training in hospitality, cooking, and tourism management. Hill families in Garhwal and Kumaon regions can earn regular income from domestic and international tourists visiting Char Dham, adventure tourism, and eco-tourism circuits. Administered by Tourism Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
