Who is Eligible for UK Gaura Devi Kanya Dhan Yojana?
- ✓ Girl child born to a permanent resident family of Uttarakhand
- ✓ EWS (Economically Weaker Section) family — annual income below ₹72,000 (rural) / ₹1 lakh (urban)
- ✓ Must be registered within 6 months of birth (or school enrollment at Class 6–8 for older cohorts)
- ✓ SC/ST and BPL families get priority
- ✓ Parents must have Aadhaar-linked bank account
- ✓ Girl must not have been victim of sex selection / female foeticide (hospital birth certificate required)
