Uttarakhand Ekal Mahila Swarojgar Yojana (Single Women Self-Employment Scheme) provides financial assistance of up to ₹1 lakh (non-repayable grant) to single women — widows, divorcees, abandoned women, unmarried women above 40 — in Uttarakhand to start a small business, cottage industry, or self-employment activity. The scheme is targeted at economically vulnerable single women in hill districts of Uttarakhand and is administered by the Women Empowerment & Child Development Department.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Up to ₹1 lakh non-repayable grant for single women (widow/divorcee/abandoned/unmarried 40+) to start enterprise in Uttarakhand. The scheme was launched in 2016 and is implemented by the Government of Uttarakhand.
